Types of myomectomy
There are different ways of removing fibroids. This depends on the location and size of fibroids.

Submucous fibroids especially smaller ones can be removed vaginally via Hysteroscopy. This is often called TCRF or transcervical resection of fibroids. This is usually a day case procedure with quicker recovery.

Laparoscopic/ Robotic Myomectomy: This is a Minimally invasive keyhole surgery with small abdominal incisions.

Abdominal Myomectomy: Traditional open surgery for large or multiple fibroids.
