Tubal surgeries are offered to selected patients as an alternative to IVF.
They include a wide variety of procedures
If tubes are blocked and swollen, they can be unblocked and and made functional ( salpingostomy)
Reversal of sterilisation is done when patients wish to have their tubes rejoined for fertility reasons. This is also offered to selected patients
